An unwanted logo makes |

|
Once upon a time we designed a logo that we loved. We offered it as a concept to a client, but they didn’t want it. And so we kept it here in our studio, backed up with all our other designs. One day we got an email all the way from America from Bill Gardner of ‘LogoLounge’ fame. He said he liked our approach to design because he thought we ‘got it’ and so he asked us to send him a selection of our favourite logo designs, to compete for inclusion in his next book ‘LogoLounge Volume 4’. And so we did. So hundreds of thousands of logos from around the world were looked at by an international panel of judges including Jason Schulte of Jason Schulte Design and Neville Brody of Research Studios. These respected designers described the judging as ‘extremely competitive’ and the final selection of chosen logos as ‘exceptional’ and among the final selection was our beloved ‘evolve’, the one the client left behind! And the moral of the story is: Even if you feel like a loser sometimes, there’s always someone out there who thinks you’re the best! |
