Ooh these are beautiful – new passports for lucky Norwegians. The design, conceived by Oslo based Neue Design Studio was selected for its simplistic solution. We love its cleanliness in design and clever link with function too. There are 3 cover colours, which I’d like to think you could select upon order, but apparently not. They are coloured differently for standard, diplomatic and immigrant passports. They all feature minimal gold type and a pared down version of the country’s crest.
The interior pages are decorated with beautifully illustrated landscapes, from different parts of Norway – can’t really beat nature as an influencer. When viewed under UV lights, these landscapes transform to show the Northern Lights, a natural beauty seen in Norway. How lovely it would be to go travelling with a book of such beauty, those lucky Norwegians!
