Macu-Save, pharmaceutical rebrand and packaging

Macu-Save is a supplement manufactured for eye health care, by Irish company Pharmed. The ‘macula’ is an oval shaped pigmented area near the eye’s retina, which protects the light sensitive cells in the back of the eye. Over time and with age, it can become damaged. Macu-Save is a product that provides nutrition for this part of the eye.

We looked at a complete re-brand, with new identity and fresh packaging. It is always important to have shelf stand-out, but especially when appealing to those with compromised vision. Strong graphics and distinctive colouring for this retail area – different to competitors – helps with this new look.
