In 2015, the Government launched Connecting for Life, the new national strategy to reduce suicide 2015-2020. Connecting for Life is founded on the suicide prevention work that has taken place in Ireland over the past ten years.
This project required a large production and management input from the full team at Penhouse. We worked with both NOSP and HSE throughout the process. From a creative aspect we met with clients and understood the brief. Due to the sensitive subject matter we needed to be mindful of emotional responses, colours and graphics in the design creation. Final design needed to be warm and yet serious. We generated design concepts and explored full design development for the suite of material. The design process involved breaking down pages of complex information through simplified clarity of layout and infographic creation.
“Everyone here is very pleased with how it is looking and really excited that the main document is going to be a thing of beauty.”
“It’s great, you have nailed it as far as I am concerned”
Orla Howard, consultant with NOSP
